🚲 Celebrate National Ride2School Day with a Hands-On STEM Challenge Incursion!

Looking for a fun, engaging sustainability activity for your students? Schools in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs are invited to take part in a FREE STEM incursion celebrating National Ride2School Day and encouraging students to think about sustainable ways of travelling to school.

🚲 The STEM Challenge

Students will take part in a creative design challenge: Design and Create a Bike Hub for Your School.

Working like young engineers, students will design a safe, fun and sustainable bike hub (bike racks, seating, protection from weather, bikes safe, good access to the bikes) that encourages more students to ride their bikes to school. This interactive, hands-on activity is perfect for primary and secondary classes and sustainability teams.

🚲 Fully Facilitated

The session is delivered by our RSS Facilitator, Graziella, who is a fully qualified STEM and Environmental Science teacher. She will provide a structured, curriculum-aligned experience while teachers can enjoy the learning alongside their students.

🌱 Completely FREE

Conditions

• Western metro schools only (Melbourne, Moonee Valley, Maribyrnong, Hobsons Bay, Brimbank, Melton, Wyndham).

• Schools must be ResourceSmart Schools (RSS) Active on the day or prior

• Max 1 booking per school across our incursion series

• One class or Green Team per session
