My Sustainability Vision - online workshop for educators
4:15 PM – 5:45 PM
“My Sustainability Vision” - Online Workshop for Educators Teach from the heart. Lead with purpose.  Sustainability education matters - and it’s even more powerful when it connects to your values and purpose. Discover your personal “why” for teaching sustainability in this deeply reflective workshop facilitated by Verity McLucas from EEV.  Through guided reflection, you’ll create your own "Sustainability Vision" - a statement that brings clarity, confidence and direction to your teaching, and readiness to embed sustainability more meaningfully.  You'll leave with a unique statement that grounds your practice and helps you embed sustainability more meaningfully every day, plus 5 steps you can take over the next 6-12 months that link directly to achieving your Sustainability Vision. 🐓 Early birds - book your place before Sunday 3rd May and your ticket is FREE!  🌸 Registrations from Monday 4th May are priced as follows: EEV Members: $5.00 RSS Active Schools: $5.00 All others: $10.00 ✅ Certificate of participation provided ✅ ResourceSmart Schools: counts for Core module Action B 1.2 “Professional Development” Wednesday 3rd JUNE 4:15-5:45pm Online - Zoom link will be sent the day prior. PLEASE NOTE:  For this session you will need to write notes in response to key questions. If using paper and pen, you'll need a couple of pieces of A4 sized paper (or equivalent). You will also be asked to share some of your responses, if you feel comfortable. Given the interactive and personal focus of this workshop, it will NOT be recorded. It's important that you arrive on time - the workshop is based around a sequence of questions that build your sustainability vision, so you need to be there from the start so you don't miss any questions. We will not be able to stop and go back to the start if you join late otherwise the workshop will run over time.

7:15 AM – 8:00 AM
Join us for a free coffee and cake, and chat about saving your school money and saving the environment🌱 We all know schools could use some additional budget - whether it's paying for more teaching hours, upgrading the photocopier, or putting in some shade for the playground. Business Managers and Administration staff are vital in the efficient running of schools, and you can play an important role by entering your school's utility bills into the online system.  It's a quick and easy step when you process the bills, that could save your school hundreds or thousands of dollars in utilities. The ResourceSmart Schools Program teaches school students about the environment, analyses the bills and identifies where there are likely savings.   Studies have shown that ResourceSmart Schools improves student wellbeing.  Happier, healthier students and staff is great for everyone.  The system produces clear graphs, and it's really satisfying to see your billing graphs trending down. EEV's Facilitators will provide training, printed guides, and ongoing support by phone or email. Put a pep into your step for the day, and come along to this delicious, friendly, quick and informative FREE event. 🥗 INCLUDED: delicious cake, pastries and coffee, network with your peers from local schools, and EEV's knowledgable facilitators, and a free copy of Eingana Magazine. 📍 Who’s it for?
