“My Sustainability Vision” - Online Workshop for Educators

Sustainability education matters - and it’s even more powerful when it connects to your values and purpose.
Discover your personal “why” for teaching sustainability in this deeply reflective workshop facilitated by Verity McLucas from EEV. Through guided reflection, you’ll create your own "Sustainability Vision" - a statement that brings clarity, confidence and direction to your teaching, and readiness to embed sustainability more meaningfully.
You'll leave with a unique statement that grounds your practice and helps you embed sustainability more meaningfully every day, plus 5 steps you can take over the next 6-12 months that link directly to achieving your Sustainability Vision.

For this session you will need to write notes in response to key questions. If using paper and pen, you'll need a couple of pieces of A4 sized paper (or equivalent). You will also be asked to share some of your responses, if you feel comfortable. Given the interactive and personal focus of this workshop, it will NOT be recorded.
It's important that you arrive on time - the workshop is based around a sequence of questions that build your sustainability vision, so you need to be there from the start so you don't miss any questions. We will not be able to stop and go back to the start if you join late otherwise the workshop will run over time.

Online Demo: Entering Energy and Waste Bills in the RSS Online System

Entering your bills is essential for completing your modules and earning your stars. It also helps you identify opportunities to save money and see the real impact of your ResourceSmart actions.
This practical online training will guide you through how to enter your utility bills in the ResourceSmart Schools online platform.
Bring along recent electricity, gas, landfill and recycling bills. There will be time to log in, upload your data, explore examples, and learn how to read the reports generated by the system. We’ll also allow time for questions, discussion, and troubleshooting support.
This session is a great opportunity for:
✔️ Office staff and interested parent volunteers to build confidence with the system
✔️ New schools learning the process for the first time
✔️ Schools looking for a helpful refresher.
