Entering your bills is essential for completing your modules and earning your stars. It also helps you identify opportunities to save money and see the real impact of your ResourceSmart actions. This practical online training will guide you through how to enter your utility bills in the ResourceSmart Schools online platform. Bring along recent electricity, gas, landfill and recycling bills. There will be time to log in, upload your data, explore examples, and learn how to read the reports generated by the system. We’ll also allow time for questions, discussion, and troubleshooting support. This session is a great opportunity for: ✔️ Office staff and interested parent volunteers to build confidence with the system ✔️ New schools learning the process for the first time ✔️ Schools looking for a helpful refresher.

The AGM will be held online on Monday 20th October, 6:30-7:15PM We are excited to have Professor Sebastian Pfautsch presenting on The Impacts of Climate Change on Schools. Sebastian is a Professor of Urban Planning and Management in the School of Social Sciences at Western Sydney University.  He is one of the authors on the Cool Schools report, and lead author on the School Micro Climates Report. You may have seen Sebastian on Gardening Australia and in the Craig Reucassel documentary 'Big Weather and how to Survive it', where he demonstrated his research on measuring the temperatures in schools and the strategies schools can use to minimise dangerous temperatures. This quick online training will show you how to enter your bills in the ResourceSmart Schools Online platform.  Entering your bills is essential to complete your modules and receive your stars.  It also shows you where there are opportunities to save money, and how much you've saved through being ResourceSmart! Bring some landfill and recycling bills along and there'll be time to log in and upload the details.  We'll share some examples and learn how to read the report that the system generates. We'll also allow time to chat and ask questions while helping with any trouble shooting. A great opportunity to have all your office staff trainned and possibly some parent volunteers.  This opportunity to to learn the process for entering bills in the online system for all new schools as well as a quick refresher for schools who have previously been in the program. 

The EEV networking sessions are an opportunity for teachers of VCE Environmental Science to informally meet online after school hours to share ideas and ask questions. You will receive an email with a Zoom link leading up to the scheduled 4pm -5pm meeting.
